And synonymous with the work of Sten Hostfalt, the Sonus Rex label, a 2006 registered New York City business in 2006 is shaped by innovative artistry. From 1980s reel-to-reel tape recorded, DIY produced and fanzine distributed audio cassette compilations of progressive jazz fusion, new wave, punk, improvised music, and experimental electronica, to a new millennium beyond genre mindset.
