New York Electronic Music Scene 2007-11

Introduced on New York's electronica scene via a 2007 Bushwick rooftop concert, at Praveen Sharma's Percussion Lab, Sten Hostfalt contributed, as a bass guitarist, to the sound of a new generation in electronic music, together with electronic musician/composer Collin Palmer AKA CALMER, developing new music in live performances sharing bills  with hip-hop/electronica greats Keith Murray (Def Squad) and MOBY,  rising stars  Theophilus London (Warner Bros. Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West), Travis Stewart AKA Machinedrum, (Azealia Banks, Kid606), Jesse Boykins III, Praveen (Mouse on Mars), and Addiquit (Cat Power).
